Description of the project

Warsaw Home is an International Interior Design Fair that attracts enthusiasts of good design. For four days, exhibitors from the furniture and decoration industry, both from Poland and abroad, showcase their offerings. The event has a business character but also provides a great opportunity for interior design enthusiasts to draw inspiration.

Warsaw Home is growing stronger every year, and the booths presented by participating brands are on par with those at the Italian Salone del Mobile.

The 2019 trends were showcased in the BLUM booth at the Warsaw Home fair. The booth was designed by Meliński Minuth’s designer, Paulina Brodowska. Paulina is an artistic soul and our specialist in designing large-scale trade fair booths. In collaboration with the client, she combines a creative vision with the real needs of the companies we work with. Her sense of style and experience led her to the position of Creative Team Coordinator in the Design Department. Her knowledge of trends and ability to listen to the client ensures that not only the BLUM booth but also other booths she designs meet the client’s dream of a creative and functional space.

The inspiration for the BLUM booth was the reference to house construction. With such a form, our client’s products seamlessly integrated into the designed space. Fair visitors could easily try out modern solutions and feel a homey atmosphere.

The booth walls were made of painted MDF boards, adorned with large-format graphics imitating paintings. Steel shelves were not only a structural element of the booth but also a decorative element, reflecting current trends. The booth was topped with a frieze, lightened by openwork elements. From a distance, the eye-catching illuminated company logo, placed in a lightbox on both sides of the frieze, could be seen.

The conversation area was arranged at the back of the booth. A shelf with green accents provided a subtle camouflage, enhancing the comfort of business discussions. The entrance to the backroom was concealed with specially chosen fabric, adding a homey touch.

Accessories played a significant role in the booth. By equipping the display with everyday products, visitors could easily relate to the surroundings and visualize their own home space. Details matter to BLUM. An interesting idea was the display of hinges in glass containers on the kitchen counter. BLUM’s material samples were presented in an elegant and unconventional way, integrated into the surroundings to be both easily accessible and stylistically consistent with the rest of the booth. Every smallest detail was perfectly refined.

An eye-catching element for visitors was the lightbox. Outside the booth, a graphic was placed. “Head full of ideas” contained two drawers with cards full of inspiration for architects and carpenters using BLUM systems.

Eco-elements were also important at the booth. At Blum, everyone believes that in the long term, ecological practices also bring economic benefits. Product durability is just one of many important aspects. Other essential elements are environmentally friendly processes, wise use of materials, and reasonable energy management. Good workflow, optimal use of usable space, and high comfort of movement are important features of a functional kitchen. The company’s ideas for its planning help organize the interior of furniture to be functional, comfortable, and ergonomic.

The commitment to ecological values was also highlighted by apples from a local orchard and tags made of gray paper containing product information.

The Warsaw Home fair is a beautiful place full of inspiration every year. We eagerly await its new edition, which will surely provide a large dose of good design!
